The Wise Mind Approach

Everyone has a “Wise Mind” but most people don’t know what that means. If they do know, they may not know how to get there. To connect with our Wise Mind is to have logic and emotions balanced in a way that helps us feel calm, clear and grounded. Wise Mind feels good.

The Wise Mind Coaching approach is, at its core, learning to think differently. It begins with radical acceptance: of yourself, your life situation, your past, and even your mistakes. From this authentic starting point, real change is possible. From a foundation of acceptance, you can learn active strategies to work with challenging emotions, to manage disappointment and difficulty, and to cultivate more satisfying and harmonious relationships. This adds up to more effective problem solving, “stress-hardiness” and resilience in general. The Wise Mind goal is to empower you to spend the rest of your life confident in your ability to handle what comes your way and inspired to use your new toolbox to create a more productive, more joyful life.
